Why Organic?

Why eat organic food? Why choose organic products? Why should you care?

If you believe the old adage "you are what you eat", then you accept that the cells of our bodies are nourished by the food we ingest. If we eat fresh, uncontaminated foods, this will be reflected in our health, vitality and energy.

Pesticides and fertilizers, which kill insects and promote plant growth, affect us with their toxicity just as they do other forms of life.

Ecological Awareness

The planet is quickly running out of dumping places for waste. Plastic does not biodegrade but sits in landfill sites, leaking toxic gases and polluting the water supply. Depositing at sea is no solution, nor is incineration, since it releases toxic fumes.

We are leaving our "ecological footprints" on the earth in the way in which we live our lives as consumers or users.

We have choices to make!

Buying less; reusing and recycling; using less gas by cutting down on unnecessary travel; reducing our use of plastic; choosing organic foods and making choices that encourage biodiversity; cutting back on processed foods whose manufacture impacts on the environment; switching to non-toxic cleaning products; using natural rather than synthetic materials in the home.

We have control over these areas in our lives and even small changes can add up to something significant if we all make them.

Choose to live green, choose organic.
Do it for the planet that gives you life. Do it for your future generations. And most of all, do it for yourself!
